Athelstans is proudly independent and people-led; this is the team behind the name. We’re small, experienced, and all hands-on. Between us, we cover everything from marketing and compliance to inventories, repairs and rent collection. We genuinely love what we do.
We’ve worked in lettings through the '90s, the noughties, the tweenies and the twenties and it won’t be long before we’re ticking off the thirties too. It’s safe to say there’s not much we haven’t seen, solved or soothed.
Ellie (yes, she really is 6ft 3") leads the business. Daisy our 'Pup‑erty Consultant' comes almost everywhere with her and keeps things running with tail wags and gentle supervision. Kiera handles the day-to-day tenancies with calm, clarity and consistency. Dawn is out on the ground, meeting tenants, handling viewings, managing inspections and coordinating check-outs. Rose oversees administration, marketing and auditing, keeping our systems sharp and our standards consistently high.
We’re professional and efficient, which you’d quite rightly expect. But we’re also caring, kind and respectful; three things that we think are undervalued today.

Ellie, our Director, also volunteers as Secretary of the Launceston Chamber of Commerce, and you’ll find her running the Launceston Farmers’ Market in the town square.

Every year, Ellie also swaps her laptop for an apron cooking over 4,500 meals (so far!) at the SWLC Performance Open Day, helping raise thousands of pounds for local charities.

Athelstans is proudly rooted in Launceston, where we began in 2013. We let and manage homes across the PL15, PL16 and EX20 area, from Lifton to Altarnun and everywhere in between. Whether you're a local landlord or new to the area, we bring local knowledge, trusted contacts, and a decade of hands-on experience in North Cornwall’s unique rental market.
We expanded into West Cornwall in 2018, acquiring a long-established agency with deep ties to the area. Today, we manage rental homes in Truro, Penryn, Falmouth, St Austell and surrounding villages. We understand the seasonal shifts, student markets, and high demand for well-managed homes and we’re trusted by landlords across the county to keep things running smoothly.
In 2020, we added Exeter to our portfolio giving our landlords access to a vibrant city market with a strong tenant base. We manage properties across Exeter and into East Devon, supporting local professionals and families alike. With boots on the ground and in-depth area knowledge, we combine strong compliance with personal service.
