We describe ourselves as a small independent team, even though our leader Ellie is 6ft 3in tall!
Ellie’s had more than four decades in the industry, starting when she was 18 years old.
She’s worked through the 90s, 00s, 10s and now in the 2020s, she has more than 25 years experience helping people successfully move and invest.
Ellie started the business in 2013 from a totally cold start of zero clients. And despite a slow start where she questioned her decision (and sanity), Athelstans has now overseen more than one thousand moves.
The business has grown because we genuinely care about our clients.
We’re always looking to improve our services. Whether that’s through training and using technology to provide virtual tours, or marking our referencing processes and maintenance reporting more efficient. Ultimately, everything we do is aimed at making our clients' lives easier.
When asked what makes us different, aside from height, humour and our office hound, it’s the following.
We are NOT a corporate agency, so we won’t try to upsell you anything.
We do everything in-house, which means you are not passed from pillar to post.
We apply eagle-eyed attention to detail to everything we do, from photos, floorplans, inventories, and inspections.
Everything we do is to help our sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants.
We’re owned by the tallest female agent in town, possibly the country.
