We love Launceston and not because we’re biased in that we live and work locally.

It’s a small town that has a big, friendly, and welcoming community spirit.

And it has a lot going for it commercially and culturally.

Launceston is home to several award-winning independent businesses and unlike many retail centres up and down the country, it’s full and thriving.

The town is well-served if you like a tipple or two, with great pubs including The Bell Inn and The Eagle House Hotel.

The town’s most famous poet, Charles Causley, is celebrated with an annual arts and literature festival with events held across Launceston.

Sports fans are also well catered for with football, cricket, rugby, cycling, bowling, and plenty of other clubs giving people a chance to stay active and socialise.

It’s mid-county position and convenient access to hop onto the A30 means it’s a perennially popular place to live. Add to that, it’s one of Cornwall’s last affordable locations for local people and you can see why we love it so much.
